Getting Lost in Art

Artspace Warehouse presents Getting Los in Art, an exhibition celebrating artworks by internationally exhibited and collected artists Gail Titus, Jeremy Prim, Nichole McDaniel, Greet Helsen, and Raul de la Torre.

The featured artist’s works draw on symbolizing moments that explore issues of trust, loss, hope, memory, desire, and place. Easily feeling overwhelmed by the breadth of choices, the exhibition focuses on the importance of remaining open and receptive when viewing artwork. The individual interpretations will transport the viewer to a new place. Within a globalized world, it is through the observation of ourselves interacting with the cultural landscape, aesthetic systems, and organizations of space that we can investigate the macro scale, and spatial production infrastructures in cultural social, historical, ethnic, economic, and personal meaning.
