Kodjovi Olympio
Olympio hails from Togo, West Africa, and grew up in a large family of eight children. He has been honing his artistic skills since creating his earliest sculptures from building scraps. Olympio's artistic achievements have garnered attention across Togo and neighboring countries, with exhibitions at esteemed venues such as the Lomé City Art Center and the luxury Hotel Sarakawa. Eventually, the artist found a new home in the United States in 2003, relocating to New York and Los Angeles.
Olympio's work has been exhibited around the world at museums including the Latino Art Museum in Pomona, CA; Chiba City Museum of Art in Chiba, Japan; and the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Art in Tokyo, Japan.
