About

Emilio Rama's captivating pop art-inspired paintings featuring origami animal figures are a distinctive and original contribution to the realm of contemporary art. With a vibrant interplay of bold colors, logos, and allusions to popular culture, Rama's work serves as both a visually striking masterpiece and a thought-provoking social commentary on consumerism and entertainment. His graphic compositions ingeniously reflect the fragility of our environment, utilizing the delicate medium of paper to simulate the beauty and vulnerability of nature.

This acrylic painting on canvas measures 39.5 inches in height and 47.25 inches in width. Rama added diamond dust on parts of the main character, highlighting the features. The sides of the artwork are painted as a continuation of the front, eliminating the need for framing and creating a cohesive, finished look. The painting is wired and ready to hang, and is signed by the artist on the back, adding an extra touch of authenticity and value. Free delivery is available for those in the local Los Angeles area, and affordable worldwide shipping is available for US and international art collectors. A certificate of authenticity issued by the art gallery is included with the artwork.

Born in 1976 in Mexico, Emilio Rama divides his time between Queretaro and Puerto Vallarta, drawing inspiration from his surroundings. Guided by the teachings of renowned international artists such as Gustavo Villegas, Ramses de la Cruz, Renato Gonzalez, Patrick Petterson, and Rafael Rodríguez, Rama has honed his artistic vision.

Following his successful solo exhibition at the Museum of Queretaro, Rama's artistic journey has seen him invited to participate in prestigious collective art shows and festivals such as SMART (San Miguel de Allende Art Festival) and BOARDRIPPER (Vans skateboarding and urban festival). He has also made significant contributions to the art scene through his participation in the esteemed BIENAL SANTANGEL at the Art Museum of Querétaro, where he received the APOYARTE 2013 award, presented by the Secretary of Culture of Queretaro State. Rama's works have graced both group and solo exhibitions within Mexico as well as internationally, captivating audiences worldwide.
