Amanda Arrou-tea, also known as Mandi Oh, is a gifted figurative painter with a penchant for hyperrealism. Born in San Sebastián, in Spain's Basque Country, her artistic journey commenced at a tender age. At just nine years old, she found solace in conveying her emotions through the medium of oil on canvas. As a profound Cancerian, she has maintained a profound connection to her feelings and emotions, a sentiment that she skillfully reflects in her art.
Arrou-tea studied Fine Arts and
continued to expand her knowledge by participating in various exchange programs
with Erasmus and Seneca scholarships in France and Spain. These experiences
allowed her to develop a broader understanding of different art forms such as
photography and video, which she incorporates into her artwork.
In her pursuit of knowledge,
Arrou-tea moved to Mexico to continue her artistic journey. She immersed
herself in the mystical energies and vibrant culture, which influenced her work
greatly. After years of study and curatorships, Arrou-tea relocated to Berlin,
Germany, where she currently resides and focuses solely on her artistic career.
Arrou-tea's hyperrealist
figurative paintings are known for their bold, captivating style and are highly
sought after by collectors worldwide. Her use of color, light, and shadow
create a stunningly lifelike representation of her subjects
Her
bold figurative paintings are collected internationally.
